He overpowered Singapore's Clarence Zhe 4-2 (13-11, 11-7, 6-11, 11-7, 5-11, 11-8) in the quarter-final at the Morodok Techno National Stadium Table Tennis Hall.Chee Feng will take on Singapore's Izaak Quek in the last four. Izaak had stopped Malaysia's Wong Qi Shen 4-2 (9-11, 15-13, 5-11, 11-6, 11-7) in the last eight. Chee Feng had earlier won his group matches by beating Thaialand's Phakpoom Sanguansin 3-1 (11-8, 11-8, 10-12,11-9) Laotian Anane Vongsa 3-1 (11-2, 9-11, 11-3, 11-1), and Indonesian Hafidh Nuur Annafi 3-0 (11-3, 11-3, 11-7).
